West High School has a long tradition of theatre excellence that dates back to the early 1900s. Before moving to our current location in the 1920s, the shows were performed at Central High School (currently COSI).

We are actively involved with the International Thespian Society, as Troupe #3750. We currently have eight inducted members and by the end of the year should be doubling our numbers. This past year we attended the Leadership Conference in October as well as the Central Area Conference at Bexley High School in January and the Ohio Thespian State Conference at Ashland University in April.

We are currently being led by Mr. Scott Wilson, who just completed his first year directing at West High School. We produced The Curious Savage in November and the one act play, Bang Bang You’re Dead in February and Grease in April. The 2008-2009 school year promises to bring new challenges and successes to our program.
